Can't go wrong with a nice 8 Port HP switch 10/100/1000. For your needs an unmanaged switch will be fine.

Switches can go wrong sometimes, so for this reason try to find one with a long warranty. A quick search here in the UK has turned up a Netgear switch with a 'lifetime' warranty for only £90. This is the sort of product I would recommend.

I use, one D-Link DGS-108 Switch (8 port) & one D-LINK DGS-1210-48, both works like a charm.
