Are you using V-Ray Free, Demo, Basic or Advanced?

      On this link:
      http://www.vrayrender.com/download/
      the third one:
      V-Ray Demo Nov 28 , 2003 1.09.03n Free

I would love to try the advanced version for a month. do you know if
      that is possible?

the demo version has almost all the features of advanced (no distributed rendering, doesnt save settings, and has extremely subtle watermarking)

but where should the vray material be located?
is it suppose to be located in the material browser of the material
          editor like other regular materials?

          thanks,

              hooo I see..
see that's where it is a little confusing on the website:
it says: demo version free.. (???)

              http://www.vrayrender.com/download/

              anyway! thanks a lot!

yea. apparently the Vray team wil post a new demo version soon that includes everything but disributed render capabilities. they said to me by email a few days ago that it was a matter of days.
