From 2.5 to 2.2? From 3.0 to 2.2?

We are working with a company who are running V-Ray 2.2. But we just purchased V-Ray, so we must run either 3.0 or 2.5.

We need to send MAX files back and forth. Which version should we use? Will our 3.0 files work in their 2.2? Or do we need to use 2.5?

In general files created with version 3.x could be opened and rendered with version 2.x but there will have some differences.
Because of that it would be more convenient to use version 2.5 since the result should be the same as with version 2.2.
The best solution would be both companies to use the same 2.5 version since it works with both V-Ray 2.x and Vray 3.x licenses.
