  • Controling Vray HDRI map

Hello and thanks for your time,
Is there a way to control the parameters of an HDRI bitmap in a VrayHDRI material?
Simple things like U and V offse, Tiling, Angle rotations, applying noise. Simple 3dsmax control features that are available in the slot?
    Any idea?

That's how I was able to find the parameters in the first place. My mapping type is at "Angular" but the parameters available as a scroll down only works if my mapping is set to "3dsmax Standard". There has to be a way to control the HDRI mapping more.

Right. For all the other mapping types, they're pretty much different ways of shooting 360 panoramas so the horizontal and vertical rotation and flip controls are the only things that'd be really relevant to a 360 wrap around image. What are you mapping the image in and what type of image is it in terms of a panorama?

Which parameters don't work for you.
I've just run a quick test and everything I tried worked fine even with Angular Mapping.

All the parameters don't work: Crop, RGB and Alpha Source, Color Space, Coordinates, Noise. Output does work however. Again only when I use a mapping type other than 3dsmax standard.

Those parameters are only intended to work when the mapping type is 3ds Max standard. We should probably hide the whole rollup if the mapping type is different.

It would be nice to have the crop helper too...
