Maybe you could suggest phased payments, seeing has they have some phases in mind:
each phase; Basic modelling, Detail modelling, View set-ups for sign-off, time of day options for sign-off, texturing and shading, post…
25% payment when basic modelling is done, another 25% when detail modelling and view set-ups sign-off etc.
BACS should be pretty quick if you are in the UK, but as this will be an international payment it could add another layer of complication to getting your money.
I would definitively tread carefully.
