  • There are two questions when creating RGB channels.

    The scene simply configured.

Glass material. All channels chose to catch all pass in the Refract.

    MultiMatteElement apply.

    Question 1 :
I want to pass the entire holding in the form of a refraction of the glass.

Is there a way to catch a pass over the second refraction?

    Question 2 :
I gave the glossy effect of glass.

I can not exactly take the pass.

How can I exactly take the pass?

    Hi,

I checked the first issue and it seem to be a bug. Multimatte can't work with more than one reflection/refraction depth in V-Ray for 3DS Max.
    Thanks for this report.

About your second question, you could extract or create a mask for any color channel (r, g, b) by using multimatte, material ID or Object ID render element in Nuke.

You can workaround the first issue by setting Affect all channels for reflections, even if you don't use them.

multimatte doesn't work with refraction glossiness other than 1.0, at least it didn't with vray 2.x..

In the first question, I was already using affect all channels.

The first bounce of the refraction rays are calculated as "refraction", the second bounce is calculated as "reflection". Turning the affect reflections to "all channels" should work.
Could you attach your scene? Also which exact V-Ray 3 version you are using ?

                    Wow! Amazing!
                    I got a pass.
                    Thank you very much.
                    And I am using V-Ray 3.00.08.
