    Hi All,

Has anyone had luck using the email notification inside of the 3ds max? What about any scripts that do a similar thing?

I cant seem to get it to work right for me.

    Thanks
    Cheers

Only works on unauthenticated SMTP servers as far as I know. If you're already on your local network and you're sending to the same network it can work, but if you use 3rd party email I think you're sol unless it supports relay.

Maybe using a local mail server that you can then autoforward to your 3rd party account...

There used to be a script on scriptspot for this but I can't seem to find it.

Ya I kind of stopped trying to get it to work, I really need it to work with a 3rd party email ie gmail. I cant seem to find a script for it either.

          Thanks
