Tell you what, your script is brilliant for interiors. I rendered one out last night, using my proven presets and it took 4 hrs. I ran your script this morning, just to test it, and it rendered in 45 minutes. Now, yours has a little more noise, but it almost looks like a fine film grain, which I am fine with.

That's great news Bobby, sort of. Thanks for the feedback. Currently I don't optimise the textures for the trees etc. I'm still thinking of a way to determine which textures should get filtering removed etc, well I know which ones, just a bit more complicated to translate it into code. Maybe some of sort pop up asking you to select all your plants in 1 go, and then those textures get treated differently. Seriously thinking about it as I want to get it RIGHT. I think that is where the current slowdowns are coming from for exteriors.

As for the grain, a lot of projects end up having grain in the end, although I'm working on improving that so that there is less grain or even no grain. If a user wants grain, that should be added in post, not with render settings that are less than ideal. I hear what you are saying and I'm busy with some tests to get you guys a better solution.

By the way, which method did you select for this latest interior? Was it MediumHigh (MediumAA)?
      Kind Regards,
      Morne

I think it was medium high. I am rendering it out again, so I can't look. The good news is, it'll only take 45 minutes to double check for you
