  • Rendering crop from Spherical Camera

    Hello,
I can't find a way to render a cropped region with a camera set to spherical mode. Because the spherical distortion is not represented in the viewport, I cannot define the crop area. I know there is a region tool in the frame buffer, but I want to render a crop, not a region. Is there a workaround?

    Regards

    Hi,

I found a way to do it, but is not very easy.
First you need to render one image in full resolution, then use it as background of the 3DS Max viewport. Hide all scene geometry (using layer manager system), set the Crop area according to the background image, unhide all geo and render again.
