  • Alembic particle limit?

I'm trying to render out some realflow generated foam imported into max through the vray proxy as alembic files. But it seems like I'm not seeing all the particles that exist in the alembic file in my renders. I have generated over 3 millions particles but it seems like I only see about 5%-10%.

I can load the rpc sequence into pflow but it bogs down really fast with high particle counts so its not really an option.

Is there a limit to what to the number of particles that can be read in as an alembic file?

    I'm using vray 3.08

    Thanks,

    V Miller

No, there is no limit. It would be best if you can get us a sample scene to support@chaosgroup.com so that we can check what's wrong.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
