Hi there,
I just had a liitle time inbetween projects so I started playing with the new Vraymetaballs Object.
Here is a couple of things I´d like to know...:
1. So far it´s not possible to use any modifiers on it, right? I´d really love to use the vraydisplacement modifier with it, even if it might kill my machine in the process....
2. I don´t quite get how to texture the whole thing...I like to texure procedurally, so usually I just apply a UVmap with XYZ checked and use this to avoid the "static" noise problem. How can I achieve this with metaballs? When I use a proxy object, Do i just need to make it big enough to cover the Pflows maximum expansion? Do I need to animate it according parallel to the pflow I use in the metaballs object?
3. I´m also not quite getting how to us the VrayParticleColor with it. Lets say I applied a Vrayfast SSS material and want to control the SSS colour via the particles...how do I do that?
Basically...I´m trying to creat something similar to this video:

I love the procedural growing effect and I could shure use it with my medical animations...
