  • Embree for MAX 2015

    Is this still being developed, or is it another reason for me to upgrade to 3.0?

    My current hardware setup:
    • Ryzen 9 5900x CPU
    • 128gb Vengeance RGB Pro RAM
    • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 X2
    • ​Windows 11 Pro

    I personally think the progressive sampler is reason enough. Embree seems to make it about 20% faster for me.

      Even without Embree, 3.0 is faster than 2.0

        You wont be sorry switching to 3.x, Ive noticed a big difference in render times since I got on to 3.x
