      Hi,
      I'm using the AFM Fresnel Tex alot but its producing alot of noise when GI caustics are enabled. Can you do something about that?

        oh that's interesting, so I never tested it with caustics but I'll have a look this week sometime.
        I wonder if you clamp that texture does it improve the noise?

          hm.. I can't reproduce it right now. Maby I did something wrong in the scenes where I noticed this. Will see if I can find a way to reproduce this, but that'll be most likely my fault because of wrong settings...
          It works great in a little Testscene.
          Also I noticed that one I'm using is not yours, or at least not the same version as you posted here. (yours has a color gamma)
          I found that somewhere on the internet unfortunately I dont know where. Anyway don't waste your time on this.

            ah ok, thanks for replying
            I did notice a post after replying to this thread that someone was having a similar issue but with the GGX BRDF model, I wonder if it was related.
