I have a high resolution terrain model matched to a photo backplate. The terrain is environment mapped (spherical) as i am creating a 360 pano (using camera override). I have my model and my 360 pano stitch lined up perfectly as I was able to place the spherical camera in the exact location on the terrain. I am raising a water box in increments to look at sea level rise (for an interactive pano) and the underlying terrain model is there for accurate clipping masks, etc. The refractions come out very distorted.. When i map the terrain with a traditionally mapped image (non-environment mapping), the refractions are good..
Any thoughts?
