Current state of Xeon Phi support?

Hello,
We're chosing hardware for our next movie and I was wondering, is Intel's Xeon Phi supported by any version of V-ray?
Is there any benefit?
Does anybody know if 3D Max is compatible with Xeon Phi?

No, we don't support the Xeon Phi right now. We've done a couple of experiments, but ultimately it didn't look like it was worth it. We will be taking another look in the next couple of months - Intel claims that the compiler and the tools are a lot more robust. Plus, we use Embree now so it would be interesting to see if it offers any additional speed boost.

3ds Max itself does not support Xeon Phi.
