Confusion on vraymat converter

I'm not sure what I'm missing but, after importing a file from Revit using revit link, I select the vraymat converter and choose convert scene materials to vraymat.mat
When Asked to choose export directory, I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be choosing but I just created a new folder, clicked on it, and nothing happens. Can someone guide me in.
Using 3dsmax design 2015 and vray 3.0

Would you please give me more details about the result you are trying to get?
If you have some non V-Ray materials in the scene and want to convert them to V-Ray ones, then you can use the "V-Ray scene converter" option in the max right click menu.
