    If I have VRay motion blur on does that mean everything is in dynamic memory? including static geo?
    I'm wondering why I should put a limit on and instead just have it set to auto/0 then I work the scene itself to make sure everything is in memory.

    //Thanks

    No. V-Ray can figure out which parts are animated and which are not and will place them in the correct raycaster. V-Ray will also automatically turn heavy geometric objects and instances into dynamic geometry to save memory.

    You can certainly work this way, yes.

    Best regards,
