  • Trying to figure out why renders are suddenly painfully slow.

I just started an interior scene and, as I am getting the lighting tweaked to where I want it, I have everything rendering with override materials. I added a dome light with an hdr texture map, and copied it to the environment map slot. I tried using a vray sun, and vray lights in the windows as well but it seemed ok with just the dome light so I disabled the sun and turned off the vray plane lights in the windows.
Still using all override materials. The room is empty, no furniture.
Trying to figure out why the renders are taking almost 40 minutes?? Using brute force and light cache GI.
    Thank You

Sometimes the gears get clogged and a reboot cleans things out. Also, go back to the default render engine and back to V-Ray again.

What are the Domelight/Brute Force subdisions, AA and DMC settings?
Would it be possible to attach or send the scene for investigation?
