Tutorial for creating oil rubbed bronze material

My kingdom for a tutorial on how to create this material, (see image).
Even if someone could suggest techniques I would very much appreciate it.
I don't really have a kingdom though,.....

Black or very dark rich brown diffuse, mid brown reflection, no fresnel, anisotropic reflections and some kind of nice bump map for the spun metal lines.

I had quite good results with oil rubbed bronze using a Vray CarPaint as a start.. helps to give the depth to the material..
Just one way among others, but worked fine...

look at the iridescence osl posted in another forum, might get you what you need.
