  • Vray VFB - Stamp info from scene

    Hi,
I like to be able to stamp information of selected settings into the render.

For example, I'd like to save the date and time of a daylight system, camera height on Z axis etc
I'd like to be able to send a animation of a daylight system from 7am to 7pm over 500 frames overnight and be able to review it next morning and see in the stamp what the info about the time of day.

Is there a way to maxscript this?

    Cheers
    Stan

I don't believe you can do it with VRay VFB but you can do it with this one.
Fair disclosure: I develop that tool.

        Ah haaaa,
        Nice!

I'll give the demo a go and if it does what I need, I'll have to buy it or multiple as the studio I'm working with will follow my finds as I'm doing all the R&D stuff.

Hoe does the site licence work? Based on a floating license?

All licenses work by sending you a .REG file and trusting you to only use the software on as many machines as the license permits (not very advanced, I know)
There is no node locking or license server involved.
There's this FAQ and you can contact me if you'd like further information.

All good, we've got about 8-10 workstations so we might go double 5 license or a site, will see how it goes with the demo.

I would still love to see some kind if bridge between Vray's VFB and max settings as I don't want to switch to any other plugin for a long term situation.

            Vlado, any thoughts on this?
