I need to purchase a slave; what do I need to connect the two? I don't have a network, so what is the best way to connect the two machines, which will be located side-by-side? I am assuming I need a switch of some kind.

- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 X2

Im assuming you are using a cable modem or something to access the net so yea you can get away with just a switch, plugging the modem in to the switch and then from there going out to your WS and slave. Make sure its a gigabit switch though
