  • A material to make the object not renderable?

    Hi all,
I would like to make an object not renderable by material.
    Is this possible?

    More info:
I have multiple vrayproxies in a scene.
They have a multi/subobject material. the parts of the proxies that have one of the materials I rather have them not rendered.

    Thanks!
    Guido.

Maybe a material with a black VrayColor in the Opacity slot?

Thanks, I thought about it. But isn't opacity not very efficient in vray?
Would that material be OUT of the calculation if the opacity is all black?

I don't think so. The problem with slow opacity is usually related to bitmapped AFAIK.

        Probably worth a test though.
