Then what impetus would there be to upgrade if all anybody had to do was ask for the new feature to be included in the old software?
Check out my (rarely updated) blog @ http://macviz.blogspot.co.uk/

I had to modify bits of V-Ray in order to get the instancer working; it would be very difficult to port these changes to V-Ray 2.x

      Best regards,

I understand what you mean, but the company is not own by me, i did submit request to admin asking them to change to VRay 3.0 and also have forward my admin and company info to Chaogroup marketing person, but don't know how is the progress between them, because i myself want to try the GGX shader too

There was a script by Bobo somewhere (maybe on ScriptSpot) that can instance objects over a Particle Flow system - perhaps it can be useful if you don't need animation.

            Best regards,
            Vlado

Worst case you could group the different objects and set the shapeinstance in PFlow to use group members.

Vlado, i have solved it with a simple replace object script, anyway i will find the Bobo script as well, and give it a try, thank you.
