Will my V-Ray 3.xx work with a.n.other's V-ray 3.xx Dongle ?

I'm handing my current machine to a friend (reformatted HD and reinstalled OS and common software including 3DS Max and V-Ray) - we both have V-Ray 3.xx.

Before handover, I'll be testing the machine with my dongle.

Never had to think about this before until now, but will the V-Ray I've installed (with my dongle) work without having to do anything in particular before he fires up the PC with his dongle in ?

Wibukeys and such like are a black art to me
