Version 1.5 as free update for current users?

Hi all,
I would like to buy a license of VRay now if it is for sure that I'll get the 1.5 version for free when it is released. The problem is that my German dealer has no official statement that the update is included/available for free to current users

Can I get an official confirmation that the 1.5 update is included?

i thought there was only the possibility to buy the software directly from chaosgroup, or am i wrong? which dealer are you reffering to Boa?

To deneb26: Catsales in Munich and Hamburg offer VRAY.

And why shouldn't I buy from the local dealer? Is it because of their margin that would otherwise go to chaos? Or is there an other reason?

I don't know of other dealers. I suppose that many 3ds max dealers are offering VRay as well.
I just ordered online. Not because of a better price (that was the same as with my local dealer) but because the whole process was much faster this way.
