  • IR/LC & final pass render setting

    Hello,
I'm still not so sure to understand the relation between the primary and secondary render engine using LC/IR and the final render.
I know that most of you are using BF/LC, but really for interior scene, getting ride of the noise in BF, even after spending long days tweaking material subd as per Grant Warwick, that doesn't work in real project.
If I have a LC/IR map already saved, can I tweak the final render setup as per I wish, including the size of the render or do I have to render again the IR/LC

    Thanks

    Hi,

It depends on the scene/render settings you want to adjust after that. For rendering only bigger resolution you will loose only GI quality.
Note that the only Irr map parameter that you can adjust when using precalculated map is Interp. Samples.
