  • VRayToon Outline width not consistent

The width of the VrayToon Outline seems to be heavily affected by overlaps. I am setting the outline to World, so width changing based on distance to camera and understandable and expected. The problem is that the lines get wider where there is overlap and it seems to also depend on the distance between the overlapping objects.

Is there a way to force the lines to be the same width all over, no matter if it is being overlapped or no?

    I'm using Vray 2.5.

To force the lines to be the same width, you need to use the pixel size setting. The world size setting computes the width based on which object the line is over, and it is normal that is it different on the two sides of the edge. I don't really know how to make it work otherwise.

    Best regards,
