License server install on Workstation or Node?

I just upgraded to 3.2 today but realized that my network server OS is too old (XP Professional) to handle the License Server (Dongle registers fine, but can't install V-Ray 64-bit). So until I get that updated, are there any issues with installing the Dongle/License server on either my Workstation or one of my three Render Nodes? Preference?
