  • New Universal Progressive settings?

    Hello chaps and chapesses!

If using progressive, should I be setting the adaptive amount to 1.0 or can I leave it at 0.85 (default)

In general just wondering what changes to make from the new defaults.

(why is the default rendertime set to 1 minute?)

Leave it to 0.85 and forget that it exists It's effect in V-Ray 3.x is much less pronounced than in V-Ray 2.x anyways.

For the render time, there's no specific reason. I wanted the rendering to finish at some point by default rather than go on indefinitely.

    Best regards,

would make more sense to have the noise at 0.01 (like the bucket rendering), but keeping the time infinite (like the bucket rendering), at least both methods should be rendering pretty much the same with the same render-time, only the way it's been calculated would be different.

Would that not make more sense, to keep thing consistent?

I love how you labelled them.
There's forward momentum going from Universal Settings to Universal Progressive Settings, I can feel it. ^^
