Hi! Question, not sure if it is possible.... I have 5 nail polish bottles, with a black shiny cap.

I want these caps to be reflected by the bottles, but not between each other.... is that possible?

    Thanks

Could render in 2 passes. Tops, then bottoms. Or just 'shop it if it's just a still.

There's a new feature in the right click > Vray properties per object called trace sets which you can use to control what can reflect what.

Yes, I saw that, thanks! But it does not work, I mean, it should work, it let me select some objects to put them on the exclude list, but then when I hit OK, the setting resets and the objects do not stay on the exclude list.

Did you click the little arrow button that points to the right?

Yes of course I did. It is broken, I posted it very detailed into the problems section and also a scene with the issue, and reproduced it with a scene from scratch too... 100% broken.

              Which build of vray are you using? 3.0 / 3.1 / 3.2 / nightly?

3.20.02 I didn't know of nightly versions of Vray.... how can one get into that? I'm already testing the nightly versions of Phoenix.

You'll need to do it in passes or you might see topless bottles in the reflection like you can see in John's.
