  • Upcharge for VR Panos with clients

What are any of you all charging for gearVR type images? No custom app of UX stuff but just basic 6x1 cube stereo images in card board or gearvr? I am wondering if by creating a VR Pano, does that potentially limit the need for a client to request multiple still images in the same space? Has anyone run into that where clients are requesting less images because they can get more bang for their buck from a VR pano? Any insight would be helpful.

    thanks

For simple 360 render, just render cube map, or spherical panorama, load it into a player and thats it! ( there's ton of complexity you can add to a VR Solution )

If it's a space unique to the visual we charge about the same as a still - much less work needs doing in photoshop but it's balanced out near exactly by the extra work by seeing in all directions.
If it's a space we're already seeing in marketing stills/animation the price is half that.

I have found them to be a lot more time consuming. A still is one view, however a pano is at least 4 views. They are not 100% unique views, but they are more work, especially if you see into other rooms.
