Expired demo on site

I sent an e-mail last week about this but there's been no change. The demo version expired April 15, 2004. Could someone please update this so I can give it a try????

This is disappointing. I was hoping to try the demo version, but if you've gotten no response, it doesn't look promising for me to get a response either. Ah well. There's always mental ray to play with.

I'm sure there will be an updated demo once 1.5 ships.
The old demo is getting pretty outdated feature-wise, and that is probably the reason for it not being renewed.

You can send an email to vray@chaosgroup.com and ask for a demo version. Make sure you let us know which 3dsmax version you have.
