  • Light linking but still casting shadows?

    Hi all

Hoping that I'm just not thinking about this properly but I have a bit of an issue Im hoping I may find some help for here.

Basically Whenever I use light linking, which I do like using, I quite often get into the issue of wrong shadows? Is there anyway for me to have a light just affect a single object but the rest of the objects in the scene still shadow cast?

Also is there a way to make a light not affect GI?

    Thanks all

    Will.

      Hello,

Can you show us some screenshots of the issue.

Yes, you can use Include/Exclude lists of the light. The lists are located in the General roll out of the light settings.

Also is there a way to make a light not affect GI?
i don't think there is a way to exclude them form the GI. But you can use render elements VRayGlobalIllumination and VRayLightSelect
