3dsmax adapter error ?

Using Backburner and max and getting lot's of adaptor errors.
Does anybody know what that is ?

My test scenes have teapots only.
just a few lights and shaders for testing.

Maybe I will be able to help if you give me the exact error message from the BB log.

the only way we were able to overcome this was to switch to deadline!

ohh man.... no way to fix that within Backburner ?

I am not sure if anyone else found a solution for that problem. I know it's Autodesk but was hoping maybe someone within our VrayForum might have found a solution.. instead of using a different Manager !

there is no solution as far as i know
struggled for 6 months with it. it all started with the change from max 2012 to max 2014.

Bernhard, are you using Max 2016 SP1 by any chance? If you are, it's advisable that you download the latest version of Backburner. We also had some problems with BB after installing SP1 on Max 2016. Don't remember if they were adapter error, though. The problems seem to have gone away after we installed the latest BB. We've gotten BB problems in the past (Max 2014 and lower) but it seems that everything works ok for us so far with Max 2016 and BB (with some minor hiccups that I mentioned).

Backburner is the bane of my life! I feel like a prisoner to it haha... Your adapter error could mean anything in backburner world. Ours has been playing nicely for the last few months but it's due a screw up! When this happens I usually remove backburner and delete the app data manually followed by a reinstall, usually helps for a while

I have just rolled max 2016 SP1 across the farm and a few nodes are problematic but in general not too bad.
