Just a side note...

as I stated earlier in the thread, we work mainly for Audi AG.

One of the conditions of any contract with Audi is that they own 100% any files produced during the creation of the work.

They are not buying purely a rendering or an animation. This of course means that if we sub-contract a job to someone, then we also need all the source files including max files, mats etc.

I realise this may be a problem for some of you and understand if this ends your interest however it is something that is non-negotiable.

As I have already said to one person, our need for help is due to volume of work, not our own inability to produce quality artwork. We are not intending to purely "copy" the settings (pointless as every case is different) and if a good job is produced for us then we will surely use that person again.
