  • Making texture wavey

I have a client who chose this flooring and, when applying this bitmap to the diffuse, I'm getting a very straight pinstripe texture. Unlike the wavey pattern in the bitmap.
Can someone give me some guidance on how to get the waviness.
    Thanks

Is it possible the max bitmap filtering it softening the lot out? Try setting the map blur to 0.1 and see if it helps, otherwise try the vrayhdri loader, it's got better filtering options.

Bump mapping probably looks at the intensity of the texture colors; if you look at your texture as grayscale, it looks rather flat. Maybe you can try to boost the contrast of the texture when you use it for bump.

Good point, you can also try using high pass in photoshop (its a filter under "other"category) it will produce a fake bump from your texture that will flatten the variance in color.

Check your uv's or mapping type, seems more like a mapping issue.
