  • first time animation

    Hi Guys,

I am about to make my first animation. It's just a simple turntable. However I would like to know if there are any pitfalls I should avoid? Also flickering, what are best vray setting to avoid this? I read through forum and I see there is a lot people mentioning sample rates and noise threshold. Is this all I must be aware of?

    Cheers

id keep your min aa rate above 1.

2 or 3 is sufficient. with 1 there is a tendency for super fine details to shimmer even with a massive max rate.

You might also want to try Vlado's sampling method, It works great for me.

Here is a link to a video tutorial that Vlado did https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKaKvWqTFlw

      Hope it helps.

      Cheers.
