I have no issues with VRay - I love it, know how to use it and it works for me. And I can get results I'm happy within the timescales I know that it needs to do what it has to do.
I was simply giving my 2 cents worth re Corona and how easy, out of the box (for a first time newbie user) their system, particularly ActiveShade, was for my recent project - which I have since tried RT on but the results using it look pretty ugly in comparison.
There are lots of nice features in Corona's interface that I like - for example their really easy way of using either Camera Settings or EV values to just dial in a pretty decent looking image, worked like a charm. They also have lots of tool tips which speak of real world photography values (something that I feel is very important, especially for a die-hard old-school film photographer).
I'm always keen to learn - and very grateful that we have Vlado almost always on tap ready to comment and help.
As I said, I think competition is great as I'm sure the Corona boys looked long and hard at VRay for inspiration to produce what they have so far
