  • Need to create Lens Flare on material ID

I have track lighting in a retail establishment that has about 200 small spots. I don't have a physical light in each spotlight mesh. I have the front face where the light would exit as a bright self-illuminated white material so that the lights appear to be 'ON' in renders. My room is lit by other invisible lights.

What I'd like to do is put a glint or lens flare on each one of those front self illuminated spotlight meshes using a material ID on that front face. I tried to use Vray Bloom and Glow and got nothing using Material ID. Is there a way to do this?

The VrayLensEffects got this feature, but it's not implemented since Chaosgroup published them. So no solution for this now. As I heard on another thread they are finally working on it.
