  • Chrome material not render looking through clear glass

    Hello,

I'm having a bit of a rendering issue. I have a clear shower glass door and the shower fixtures are chrome. The camera is on the outside looking into the shower. When I render the image, the chrome will not render. The object looks black. When the shower doors are removed.....the chrome material will render just fine. First time I have seen this happen..........Thoughts?

    Thanks.....Scott

It's your reflection / refraction depth. If you've got multiple things you're seeing the chrome through, they all count as raytracing steps so you've to up the count to allow for this.
