hi guys, im plannin on makin a short animation, as a demo, ive already started workin on storyboards etc. ill be using 3dsmax, i was thinking abt vray for rendering? is that a good idea? considerin ill have objects moving in my scene(no characters tho), so the irrmap cud take a lot of time. hmm? the setting is of a dark ominous old english village during fall, misty and spooky, like "sleepy hollow"...has anyone tried any such moody enviromental lighting/rendering using vray, id really like to know? thanks in advance

Hi RoarK !
An image was done some time ago, it was a church illuminated with
volum fog light. It was quite good...
You ask if Vray is a good idea to be used to, it's difficult to say no...
We love it for most of us, and we clearly know that Vray has a strong
potential compared to others...
Nevertheless, you can use Mental ray if you use Max6 to make the
difference...
Bye !
