Procedural Metal Scratches ?

Seeking a method that
- allows you to create fast and easy realistic looking metal scratches on edges only.

I've seen some methods using the AO pass, and brushing by hand scratches within PS.

However.. this method is not as fast as I wish it would be.
- any ideas, hints, tips and tricks ?
- your personal favorite ?

Siger recently released a free map that produces procedural scratches: http://www.sigerstudio.eu/shop/plugi...igerscratches/
You can use this map inside a composite map and use vray dirt map with inverted normals as a mask.

or a VrayCurvature instead of dirt.
