Thanks to Chaos and Itoo.
Every scene we test, there is at least a 50% increase in speed.It is unbelievable.
Only one really heavy scene ( 2gb with interiors and exteriors altogether ) crash Max.
Probably some bad furniture.I do not have time to search now.
We are starting new projects using the betas.We can't turn our back to such an increase in speed.
( I am so close to install the beta over our farm )
Only Vray related.
There was one particular living room that was taking long to render ( 7k resolution ).An i7 was about half the way and taking 4 hours.IR/LC.
I opened the beta and set a progressive render for 2 hours on a dual xeon ( 60% faster than the i7).A small denoise in photoshop and it was done.
Also impressive.
