Hey guys, trying to render out a pass with just vray environment fog by using a black override material on everything then comping the result in post... The only problem is that the override material makes transparent objects black too. I requested a feature a few years ago for Vray to ignore refractive in the override, but to no avail.
Is there a way (via maxscript?) to select all refractive materials, or materials with a refractive value greater than x? Then I can just hide them.
[edit] ugh, i'll still have to go into xrefs though, and it wont work with proxies & railcone. Don't worry about it.
