  • Texture variation

I'm trying to learn how to get large scale variation in vray textures and I'm hoping someone can guide me to the right approach.
A good tutorial would be nice. Or even a nudge in the right direction.
Here's an example in this concrete wall material in this image.

If substance or something procedural is out of the question, I might just tile a grunge map/mat over the base concrete with a vray blend material.

Procedural as in bercon maps or something similar?
The Vray blend approach sounds interesting. I'll give that a try.

If you had the right recipe.
Sometimes we just need a little shove in the right direction.
