This was talked about before, however, I don't think there was follow through. I saved the VFB, as a JPEG, and opened it up in Photoshop. I wanted to see if my denoise plug-in would clean things up, and this is before I did anything in PS; I just opened up the JPEG. Notice, the VFB is much noisier than when you open it up in PS. Again, this is prior to running the denoise plug-in.
