This is kinda off topic, but...
We're using VIZ 4 with about 5 render slaves to distribute rendering single images. We tested it on a sample scene with Vray and its working great!
But, we also have three separate files which xref scenes which are all located in the same root directory. The problem is, when viz starts the distributed rendering, all the slaves can't find the xref scenes or alot of linked textures, even though they're all in the same root directory. Also, we can't merge the xrefs yet because I am still designing and changing the building.
I guess my question is, can the render manager just tell all the slaves to use a shared path set up? Whats the best way to set the project up.
Otherwise I have to manually add the paths of all the xrefs and textures to all the render slaves. There has to be an easier way, I hope.
Thanks,
Vince
