One mini dump file attached. This was created yesterday and it's the only one in the folder, though 3ds has crashed probably a dozen times since then (folder route:C:\Users\p.grayston.BONDBRYAN\AppData\Local\ Temp)

Sorry for all the questions but I'm far from an I.T guy, so this is all new to me.. But as it is I can barely work so a solution is needed.

I just have been informed by our developers that the crash is in the atidxx64.dll file.
Since the latest driver update doesn't fix it, you can try an older driver or different Viewport driver.

Switching to an older viewport driver sorted the crash - thanks for that

However when I open Max files now quite often the viewports don't load, or show any of the scene geometry. I can open the layers pallet etc and all is well, I just can't see anything in the viewports. Usually I can close and re-open the scene and all is well, but it's a little frustrating.

How about switching to an older GPU driver or maybe newer. I don't have good experience with AMD GPUs though.
          A.
