Animated panoramas?

Has anyone rendered and produced animated panoramas?
I use Kolor Panotour with Panoviewer for my VR's. Ive always wanted to do the 'live' version which Ive seen with footage, but not with renders. Anyone have experience with this process and would care to discuss?

i've done some timelapse 360 (hdr too). but that was with single camera and automated head.

these look like go pro rigs.

its been a while since i've put anything into a playable form like this, and i did that with pano2vr. i haven't done it with krpano yet.

you have to down res it quite a lot to get the cross pattern to work in one video file.

We have for various infrastructure (roadway) projects. Works well with KolorEyes on Oculus and/or GCardboard.
