DR - its about time theres a fix?

Hi guys

Love vray to bits except i have one major gripe... only 1. And that is the lack of information for DR when it doesnt work. The only way to figure it out is to do some trial and error testing. The vraylog only says that the DR machine is not responding. That doesnt really tell me much. Is there any way you guys could add some functionaility that lets users know where the error stems from?

That would complete me - in a 3D kinda way

Look at the log file on the DR slave itself to see if there's anything meaningful there. If a server dies, there's absolutely no way for the master machine to figure out why.

It could also be useful to contact our support guys so that they can look into what's wrong. We have some improvements to DR done already, but it's not clear if they will solve your problem or not.
